Evaluations
are often used to clarify diagnoses, rule-out potential causes of
concern, and provide treatment recommendations. Dr. Sirbasku conducts
educational, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations.
Evaluations are usually conducted in order to answer a specific
referral question, rather than broadly evaluating all levels of
functioning. The length and cost of an evaluation depend upon the
specific referral question. Examples of questions that can be addressed
through an evaluation are:
Does
the client have an autism spectrum disorder?
Does the client have an anxiety or depressive disorder?
Does the client have a learning disability or problems with memory?
Does the client have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder?
Is the client intellectually gifted?
Does the client have mental retardation?
